A tragic car accident in Kittitas County, Washington has claimed the lives of three people, including a child. According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon on Interstate 90, near the town of Ellensburg. The car, which was carrying two adults and two children, was traveling eastbound on the interstate when it crossed the median and collided with a semi-truck that was heading in the opposite direction. The impact of the collision caused the car to burst into flames. Sadly, the child and one of the adults died at the scene of the accident, while the other adult died later at a nearby hospital. The surviving child was airlifted to a hospital in Seattle with serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident, and it is unclear at this time what caused the car to cross the median. The Washington State Patrol and local authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident. They are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation. This tragic accident serves as a reminder of the dangers of driving on the highways and the importance of taking precautions to ensure one’s safety and the safety of others on the road.
