KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. – Early on the morning of September 16, a semi-truck rollover on I-90 west of Ellensburg left the driver hospitalized. The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near exit 101. Washington State Patrol (WSP) Troopers responded to the crash, where the 26-year-old driver from Fresno reportedly left the roadway and rolled the truck about four miles west of Ellensburg. The driver was transported to Kittitas Valley Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and charges could be pending according to WSP. The Washington Department of Transportation reported heavy traffic delays near milepost 106 due to the accident, and drivers in the area should expect significant wait times until the scene is cleared.
